I have AVN in my knee. I had no injury or trauma to cause it. I took fosamax for 5 years. We know it can cause AVN in the jaw, why not some other joint? Any know cases?

What does one do when they begin to experience pain in the jaw and teeth. The teeth begin to loosen. How would one know if there is irreversible damage?

The jawbone is in close proximity to skin and to somewhat of a dirty environment in the mouth.
